Travel/Competitions Costs
Each competition, camp, and training trip has a separate cost in addition to tuition/team fees. Trip fees are due prior to each event. Cancellations made less than 5 days before an event (after invoicing) are still responsible for associated trip and coach fees. Coach Fees cover the cost of coaches' travel (lodging, transportation, and per diem) to training/competitions at other ski areas.
Parents or guardians typically arrange athlete travel. The team often arrives a day early to allow time for venue inspection and familiarization.
U19 athletes may opt, during registration, to pay an additional fee for team travel with coaches. In these cases, coaches will coordinate transportation and lodging arrangements for competitions. Coaches will arrange travel accommodations for these athletes. Full details available in the BBSEF Travel policy under the "Resources" tab and during registration in the BBSEF Travel Policy agreement.
