BBSEF Participation Standard & ADA Compliance
Athlete Support, Supervision & Accommodations Overview
BBSEF is committed to providing reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) through an interactive process that supports meaningful participation. BBSEF programs operate under U.S. Ski & Snowboard and SafeSport requirements, which are designed to protect athletes and ensure clear, consistent supervision. As such, all coaching, instruction, and on-snow supervision are designated and provided exclusively by BBSEF-trained staff and may not be fulfilled by a parent/guardian. Participants must be able to independently load, ride, and unload the chairlift as part of normal program participation. These standards help maintain athlete safety, appropriate boundaries, and a positive group environment while preserving the structure of the program.
