Alpine Mitey Mites  

 

MITEY MITES: The Alpine Mitey Mite program is an introductory race program designed for ages 6 and up with basic skiing skills in search of a learning experience that will develop an all around skier.  Mitey Mites members are taught skiing fundamentals and racing technique according to their age and ability.  Most of all, we keep skiing and learning FUN!  You may choose either the basic Saturday or Sunday program and we ski from 9am to 3pm with a one hour lunch break.  This Program runs for 12-weeks program from December through March. Children involved in the program train on Saturdays or Sundays and have the option of adding jumping or Christmas camp.

Participants must be 6 years of age by December 31st. Mitey Mites with basic skiing skills are taught racing technique on suitable terrain for their age and ability, as well as racing tactics. In addition, Mitey Mites are conditioned to ski varied terrain — ranging from moguls to powder. Fun and learning go hand in hand.

We have two major fundraisers coming up. First is the Ski Swap which will be held on November 6-9. Secondly, we have the Winter Welcome coming up on the 21st of November. You will be recieving information on both events.
