WE ARE COMMITTED TO MAINTAINING THE HEALTH OF BBSEF ATHLETES, COACHES & THE COMMUNITY.

We are sure you are following the current COVID-19 crisis closely and the effects it is having on personal life, school, sports and more.  We hope you are all following social distancing and safety guidelines these days.

During these extraordinary times, BBSEF follows the guidelines put forth from a number of different entities as we continue to monitor this ever changing situation.  Including: Boise School Districts, US Ski and Snowboard, and US Cycling.  Due to the current guidelines and protocols, BBSEF has made the difficult decision to cancel the home team (non-travel) MTB team for this season.  All team fees for the home team will be refunded.
For those participating in the travel team, we are still in a holding pattern and will hopefully be able to ride sometime in May.  The travel races that the team discussed attending have also been postponed.

If and when some of these restrictions are lifted, we hope to have a couple of team rides with all members of BBSEF MTB Team.  There will be no charge for these rides. We just want the kids to get together again and have fun on bikes.  More information on those rides will come later as we learn more.

As you know, the Boise trails are still open as long as you follow social distancing guidelines.  If you choose to ride, and are riding alone, remember to tone it down.  Stay safe. Any accident you have puts unnecessary pressure on the EMS system.  They have their hands full right now with COVID-19 patients.

BBSEF is doing its part to help Treasure Valley residents and guests remain healthy and strong.

We continue to work closely with U.S. Cycling to operate in the best interests of our athletes.

We will rely on their guidelines to determine when it is safe to begin formal training.

Be well. Keep those hands clean. We look forward to hitting the trails with you soon!
