BBSEF Refund Policy for the 2020/2021 Season

Dear BBSEF New and Returning Members,

Future planning is a challenge right now, but we remain optimistic that safety measures taken today will enable us to resume the activities we love. We are following the coronavirus pandemic closely as we plan for the 2020/2021 season. In keeping with BBSEF tradition and our commitment to providing early registration discounts, we have modified the BBBSEF Refund Policy for the 2020/2021 season as follows:

In the event that Covid19 prevents BBSEF from providing programs during the 2020/21 ski season, you will have the following options:

  1. Apply your registration payments to future BBSEF program fees. This will guarantee your athlete’s spot on a future team. You will be charged the difference in the cost of future programs if prices vary.
  2. Apply your registration payments as a tax-deductible contribution to BBSEF.

Please note that Spring Registration deposits and monthly payments are non-refundable unless you have moved from the area.

NOTE:   New members will receive a full refund of coaching fees if their skiing ability limits their participation in the program.  Coaches will decide if a child is not eligible on the first day of practice. Licensing fees are not refundable.  Eligible refunds will be granted by the method of payment and may be subject to a 5% processing fee.

If BBSEF programs run as planned, our normal refund policy will apply.

Refunds will be granted for:

  • Illness or injury that prevent a competitor from training for the remainder of the season, or a significant portion thereof.  A doctor's statement is required.
  • Moving from the region, thus preventing participation in the program.

Competitors who meet the criteria above can expect refunds as follows:

Prior to December 15

Home Teams    75% refund

Travel Teams    50% refund

Dec. 16 to Jan. 15

Home Teams    50% refund

Travel Teams    25% refund

Please note: There are no refunds after January 16th.

Eligible refunds will be granted by the method of payment and may be subject to a 5% processing fee.

Thank you for your continued support as we navigate this unprecedented challenge.
