Update, 1/20: All Mountain & Snowboard Development Teams
by posted 01/20/2021

All Mountain & Snowboard Development Teams,

After careful consideration and guidance from our administration and Bogus Operations based on the current local COVID stage, we have decided to postpone our slopestyle event this weekend. Rather, we will conduct an unofficial speed trap where athletes will be clocked with a speed gun while running skiing/riding through a course. Additionally, directed freeskiing and riding with an emphasis on pressure control movements and lateral control movements will take place during the sessions.

Update, 1/13: All Mountain & Snowboard Development Teams
by posted 01/13/2021

All Mountain & Snowboard Development Teams,

Great job this past weekend participating in and completing the first round of the SkillsQuest evaluations.  Again, this is an important process that our club follows to ensure proper skill development for our youth athletes.

This weekend we will plan on directed freeskiing and riding again with an emphasis on pressure control movements and introducing lateral control movements. Additionally, we will plan to spend some time in the terrain park getting used to jump and box features in an effort to prepare for our competition weekend coming up January 23rd & 24th.

Additionally, night sessions start tonight, January 13th at 4:55p. If you are interested in Wednesday evenings as an add-on, please contact me.

Wednesday Night Training:

Dates: January 13th through March 10th
