Brush Cutting Day:

Fall is coming and it is time to get our trails ready for the upcoming ski season.  The brush and weeds seem to grow at an outstanding rate at Bogus so it's time for us to cut!  BBSEF will be hosting our annual brush cutting day on October 3 & 4 from 9:30 to 3:00 PM.  We will focus on several trails in the Bitterroot Basin area, including B1, B2, B3, Sleepy Hollow, MM jump, and the Mitey Mite race hills.  This is ambitious project so we need your help.  Details:

Date - Saturday & Sunday, October 3 & 4

Time and location - Meet at Jason Harper Training Center at 9:30 AM

Equipment:  Please dress appropriately for the weather and cutting brush.  Long pants, long sleeves, eye protection, and good hiking shoes are strongly recommended.  Hand saws, loppers, gas powered weed eaters, and chainsaws are the tools to bring.  If you bring a chainsaw, hearing protection, glasses, and chaps are required.  You will also go through a quick chainsaw safety talk.
